Barn Siding Collection

“Barnsiding” is most often from existing or abandoned farms with barns and outbuildings that have fallen into disrepair have been storm damaged or have collapsed.  Many times these buildings were raised in the late 19th and early 20th centuries.  The wood is naturally weathered from wind, rain and sun and has been left unpainted, or over time the paint has peeled away and has exposed the unprotected wood to nature.  The result is a “Graying” effect of the wood leaving it with a rustic look.

The Barnsiding collection is preserves some of this wood in various items.  The color and weathering varies greatly from piece to piece, but each of them is unique and some of the features are remnants of paint, knots, holes, mortises and nail or screw discoloration.
